Coast to Coast Style with LuLu*s: Out & About

Good morning, pretty friends! Today I'm so excited to be collaborating with two awesome teams-- LuLu*s & my blogger pal Gentri Lee

Gentri and I met in 2011 when I first started blogging. She already had a few years of blogging under her belt, but she took me under her wings and showed me the ways of blogger land! She's been a great friend to me ever since. We both lived in Utah for a while, but last year Gentri moved out to the DC area, and I moved out to Oregon! Literally on the opposite sides of the country from each other. We've had a lot of fun keeping up with our blogging, and seeing our own styles evolve as we moved out of "Happy Valley". Gentri has totally adopted the 'east coast chic' look-- minimal, classy, and clean! Me on the other hand, over in hippie town Oregon... I've definitely adopted more of a casual attitude when it comes to dressing. HAHA.

Today and tomorrow we are sharing "Coast to Coast" fashion. LuLu*s has the cutest clothes that cater to ladies all over the country (and internationally!), and we wanted to showcase that! Today's outfit is an out and about look. One thing I noticed when we first moved to Eugene relating to style is that people kind of just wear whatever the heck they want. It's been a lot of fun! I've seen more palazzo/harem pants, tie dye shirts, dreads, sandals, and jewelry on one person than I ever have before. To emulate Oregonian (specifically EUGENE) style, I styled a cute baseball tee. It's perfect for an out and about look because it's comfortable! While days have been warm here, nights definitely get a little chilly. I tied a sweater around my waist- a tie dye sweater, that is! It's great for layering when it gets cold, and I definitely fit in with the people here ;) To keep with the relaxed and comfy look, I styled this outfit with a fringe purse and dainty jewelry.

LuLu's has a plethora of trendy tie dye products, check them out here!

You nailed Eugene! I'm originally from Oregon and my husband is from Maryland, so I've lived there too. I love seeing the different styles side by side!

I love seeing your photos because it always reminds me of home: overcast skies, green trees (all. the. time) and I can just feel the fresh air! I miss it!
