Happy Halloween!

While I LOVE holidays, decorating, and dressing up... right now I'd rather not spend a lot of money on those things. I keep telling myself once Justin is out of school and has a job, I will let myself get lots of fun decor... We will see if I actually will do that down the road, haha!

We did, however, carve pumpkins with our friends! So at least we have a Jack-O-Lantern in front of our apartment door. I love how the perfectly round and orange pumpkin looks again my neutral based outfit. The lovely striped dress from Lucy & Lyla under a chambray shirt make for a perfect combination! I wore this in two looks-- one with the chambray over the dress, and another where I tied the chambray around my waist. This is great for the bipolar weather here in Oregon! One minute it's chilly, the next thing you know the sun is out and it's so dang hot!
hat: H&M || dress: c/o Lucy & Lyla || necklace: LuLu's (similar, similar, similar) || chambray: Go Jane || booties: c/o Sole Society

And now for a couple fun photos with our pumpkin...
(we eventually carved it to be a PacMan Jack-O-Lantern!)
Happy Halloween, friends!

Adorable outfit! I can never justify spending money on seasonal decor, either. And I love the pacman lantern!
