'All Day Look' with Neutrogena

When it comes to makeup in the early morning before work..... sometimes it just doesn't happen. Oh man, when I started working full time in January, it was bad. I kind of stopped doing my hair and makeup most days! D: It's not that I don't like getting ready... I just like sleeping in more. But since we have moved to Oregon and I will hopefully start a new job (fingers crossed, y'all!!), I boiled down my makeup routine to FIVE essential products that can create an "all day look". I've got to start looking decent again ;)

I swung by the local Target to pick up my essential beauty products. Everything I needed was in the Neutrogena section!
My dream team. Here we go!

First and foremost: hair! Utah has D-A-M-A-G-E-D my poor once luscious locks :( But I am doing my best to repair the hair with Neutrogena's Triple Repair Fortifying Shampoo & Conditioner. Thank heavens for these, because I can already feel my hair is softer and smoother! Hair can make or break your look, so be sure to treat your mane right.
partly air dried // partly blow dried. See below how my hair looks somewhat tame without doing anything special to it?! LOVE!
Next up, we go to the actual makeup part. The FIRST thing I do when I get out of the shower, or get up in the morning is to moisturize. My face would be so insanely flaky without some moisture!! I love Neutrogena's Oil Free Moisture with SPF 15 for a couple reasons: 1) my already oily t-zone needs all the help it can get, and 2) with sunscreen in the formula, you're killin two birds with one stone.
Not that I would ever kill a bird...
Show your skin some LOVE!

After moisturizing my face, my t-zone needs some serious help. The Shine Control Powder by Neutrogena works like a charm! I was very impressed with how well it got rid of my shiny shines.
I was very pleased with how this powder tamed my oily face without leaving powdery residue!

I've said this before and I'll say it again-- MY LIL ASIAN EYES NEED MASCARA! Definitely a priority in my beauty routine! When I made this tutorial I had eyelash extensions, but I still like mascara on my bottom lashes as well. I baptized the wand into the Neutrogena Healthy Volume mascara formula and went to town on my bottom lashes to help open up my eyes even more.

Last but not least... Lip color! Lip color is something I've been experimenting more with this past year, and I just can't get enough! Neutrogena's MoistureSmooth Color Stick felt like creamy butter as I applied it to my lips! I went with the Bright Berry color. I think this darker pink will be a great transition color into the fall season that is fast approachin'.
Also, can I let you in on a little secret? I like to use lip color on my cheeks as well. It's a little beauty hack I read in Teen Vogue many years ago, and swear by it to this day. Just rub some onto your fingers (that's why my pointer finger is pink, ahh!) and spread on the apples of your cheeks and voila-- you will get the perfect little blush.
So there you go! All it takes is five products to achieve your all day look. I could curl my hair and look ready for a night out, I could pull my hair into a low bun and look office ready, or I could put my hair in a topknot for a chill day. And my makeup will look just fine with any of them! All day every day, baby!
I want to try out more lip colors! Find Neutrogena products at your nearest Target!

Ooh, also!! Target and Neutrogena have teamed up to bring a Target Beauty Concierge event at select Target stores around the country this month! Event begins August 24th.  Limited quantities available. Check with your local Target store for Beauty Concierge day and times. Be sure to use THIS offer here when you go! Offer ends August 30th!

You are so cute. I love the oil free moisturizer. After getting eyelash extensions I had to switch everything over to oil free. :)

Not gonna lie, I normally skip over sponsored post, buuuutttttttt this one I decided to read through. I'm always on the hunt for a new lip cream and my hair is in a funk right now so I figured why not try out these products. Today was my first day using them, but so far, I really like them!
