Enhancing your Look: A Makeup Tutorial with #WalgreensBeauty

I am a member of the Collective Bias Social Fabric Community. I have been compensated for this post as a part of a shopper insights study for Collective Bias, but of course all opinions are my own. Thanks! :) #cbias #shop #WalgreensBeauty

When it comes to beauty, I believe in natural beauty. I don't like to cake on a lot of makeup, because I want to look like ME. However, I do believe in having fun once in a while and getting dolled up as well! And of course, affordable makeup never hurts either ;) Walgreens is my one-stop shop for all of the above! Great makeup at an amazing price-- what more can you ask for?

For 2014, one of my goals is to be more BOLD. In my actions, fashion, and makeup. I wanted to create a look that encompasses this-- and Walgreens helped out with the makeup part, big time!
When I was shopping at Walgreens to pick out some products for my look, I was amazed at all their deals and variety. They had ONE WHOLE WALL dedicated to makeup!
The price range was huge, so you can splurge a little, or save a lot. I chose 5 products for my look.
Here is my natural face (with some face lotion on). Because I'm Asian, my eyes look pretty small.
I depend on mascara to make my eyes look bigger!
First, I put on foundation I already own. Then, I used Maybelline's Falsies Big Eyes mascara. There are two wands-- one for your upper lashes, and one for your lower lashes.
Another step I can't miss is blush!! I love how it brings some life to my face.
I'm wearing Cover Girl Cheekers in Plumberry Glow. It was about $3, steal!!
So... this is my daily look. Not terrible, but definitely boring. Keep reading to see how I boosted my look for 2014...
#1: Eyeshadow! I do NOT know how to maximize my eyeshadow use. Luckily Wet n' Wild had a mini eyeshadow palette that tells you exactly where to apply the eyeshadow. I wanted something pretty, but not too crazy. The palette 'Walking on Eggshells' is perfect for me.
left: my subtle but poppin eyeshadow.
right: #2! I don't usually paint my nails because I'm lazy, but I want to be more BOLD with this as well! In honor of the Pantone Color of the Year's Radiant Orchid, I painted my nails with Sally Hansen's Posh Plum.
#3: The final finishing touch? Lipstick, of course! I've been wearing light pink lipsticks lately, but for my BOLD look I wanted to try a brighter color. Maybelline's COLORsensational line's Fuchsia Fever is the one for me!
So there you go! My 2014 BOLD, enhancing look! I was so happy that I could get such a variety of makeup for under $30 in one place!
So if you every want to know how to be beautiful with the most affordable, quality products around... Hit up a Walgreens near you! Make it your ultimate beauty destination!

woohoo walgreens! you can seriously get all your makeup needs at any corner drugstore these days I absolutely love it. You look so gorgeous, both with and without makeup! I wish my skin looked that good and even-toned with no makeup on. I have to say my favorite part is the lipstick you chose, I love that particular shade of pink! So fun and just enough color pop. Great look!

Love that Wet n Wild Walking on Eggshells trio. It is my basic go to eye shadow look when I'm not sure what to do that day :)
