Girl in the Yellow Dress

First off, THANK YOU to those who left nice comments on my post yesterday/Instagram/Facebook wishing Justin a happy birthday! It was a really nice day, especially for a typical Thursday! :) xo

So last week I talked about how much I'm loving mustard yellow... Well, good news. I still love it, haha! When eShakti contacted me, I couldn't have been more excited since they have a gorgeous yellow dress in their shop right now! eShakti is a site that sells tops, skirts, and dresses and you can have it custom fit to YOUR body!! No more of this awkward size/length/width of regular stores! I was so excited to create a dress that was made just for me! You can either go by a standard size chart, or enter specific measurements like I did (bicep, shoulders, chest, the works). I LOVED being able to input my own sizes. It felt good to know what that I was getting would fit me just right! I wore this dress to church, and felt like such a lady :))

I'm wearing the Ruffle Cuffs Crepe Knit dress. I've said this before and I'll say it again-- being in a sewing class has really made me appreciate fine craftsmanship when it comes to clothing construction! I felt like a nerd gushing over the gathers in the sleeve, the inverted pleats in the front, the kickpleat in the back, the invisible zipper on the side... haha! And the pockets, oh the pockets.. I mean really, what more can a girl ask for!?!

mmm work that construction zone...

love the sleeves on this dress!

The only thing that I would recommend is that the sleeves are removable, so if you plan on wearing it, you may want to get it sewed on to avoid them from moving out of place.
