Dressy

Hello and good morning, everyone! I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing Labor Day weekend! Mine was spent being a little heartbroken, since my sweet husband had to have a little operation on his nose to fix some breathing problems. It's so hard to sit and watch him be miserable, and not be able to do anything to help him feel better ):

Anyways, today I start my very last first day of school! I can hardly believe it. I don't know what I will do with myself after this semester ends! I'm taking two classes to finish up my major, then I'm taking one fun class... SEWING! EEK, I am so nervous! I can do some basic sewing, but having assignments and being graded? I'm definitely a little scared, but wish me luck! I can't wait to show you guys some of the projects I'll be working on. I hope to learn lots and be able to do some fun things with my own sewing machine.

Today's outfit is a fun dressy number. I really love dressing up, and each of these pieces is a favorite in my closet!! I'm so in love with my shirt. I've been wanting a ruffle front blouse for two and a half years now, haha, and lucky for me a fellow blogger was selling it on her Storenvy, and I snagged it for cheap! It was a little big, but I used my very beginner's sewing skills to take it in.

Have a wonderful day! XO

Ahh Rachel I'm so excited for you that you're going to be taking sewing, you'll have to let me know how it goes. The BYU sewing classes are really good I've heard so I'm sure you'll learn a lot. What are you majoring in by the way? I feel like I should know that but I don't!
