Summer Shimmers and Chambray

Good morning, everyone! Happy Monday :) I hope you had a wonderful weekend recovering from your 4th! :)

Chambray is one of those trends that caught on super quickly, and is still super popular! I think the first time I started seeing bloggers wear it was a little over a year ago. And I sure hope it sticks around for a long time, because I truly love it! I have a dark chambray top, a light chambray top, a sleeveless chambray top, a chambray top with large polka dots... and I recently added a new one to my collection. I'm a little obsessed, okay!? Today, I paired this cute chambray top with a cream skirt. The cream skirt has a shimmery floral print on it. It's really pretty... just doesn't picture well, haha.
Also, can you tell I'm kind of proud of my {pathetic} side pony?? I've been trying to grow my hair out, and I feel I've reached a plateau... which is sad but I can actually wear it in a lil side pony!! It makes the morning getting ready routine so much faster, since I don't have to dry my hair all the way haha.

I love that outfit and I am SO glad you are bringing back that link up! I really liked that idea! Speaking of link ups, I currently host one on Tuesdays called Pin it and Spin it, where we take a pin from Pinterest and put our own spin on it, then anyone can link up anything they would like. I am currently looking for more bloggers who might want to be featured. I would love if you would join us!

I finally jumped on the chambray trend last week--I bought a dark chambray popover top from Old Navy. I love it so much! I really like the idea of a chambray-polka dot combo...might have to add that to my wishlist!
