thrifted goodness, part ii

hey friends!

today i'm so excited to blog about the other half of my thrifty finds at plato's closet!
as soon as i saw this lace beauty, i knew i had to try it on!!!
it's a little big on me, but it's so beautiful there was no way i could pass it up!

and then the boots.... size 5!!! i can NEVER find shoes my size! they are perfect and i love the boot with a heel. i felt so lucky this day to be able to find some treasures! it gave me hope for thrifting again, haha!

  9. You always find the best stuff when you thrift! I tried to walk into the Salvation Army the other day and just couldn't do it. I don't want that to sound snotty, but I just didn't know where to start or what to look for. Any advice? Should I start somewhere else?

    1. i only get lucky once in a blue moon!!! i know what you mean, it's so hard to thrift! my advice is to go in with an open mind!! start with shirts, go to skirts, then look at dresses and knick knacks!! that's what i usually do. when i go in with an open mind, i let my eyes wander and i find things that catch my eye rather than keep a sharp radar out for one specific thing, ya know!?

  11. Oh my gosh THAT DRESS. You found that at Plato's?? Wow I am going there right now. ha I seriously am obsesssed with that dress!! Was it just the Plato's Closet across the street from University Mall (and by Yogurtland)? I'm serious about this, I really want to go there now. ha obviously I'm sure I won't find something as beautiful at this but STILL.

  15. wow now This is a great thrifty find. I love those consignment shops!!! this dress is so feminine and gorgeous. Jealous! lace and wispy go together so wonderfully :) I love it paired with those boots too. Dang you have tiny feet! haha!
