"Fall Bridals" Fauxtoshoot

At the end of October, I hit my one year mark of working at my current job. I work with some great people and they got me a beautiful fall bouquet of flowers for my one year workiversary! The flowers really brightened up our dining table! s they were nearing the end of their lives, I just had this urge to go out and take photos with it. And so that's what I did ;)

I took these photos during one of my lunch breaks, so I didn't have a lot of time (driving and finding somewhere pretty + taking photos). Of course it's just my luck that I FORGOT MY CAMERA REMOTE when I was taking these!! I had to use the ten second timer which is NOT easy with my 50mm camera lens that I use for my blog photos. Because there is such a nice bokeh effect, you have to focus exactly on your subject or else the photo subject could be super blurry. But somehow I was able to manually adjust the lens to where I wanted to stand and take the pictures. I wasn't able to get all the shots I wanted, but hey. It's not a big deal. The things I do for this blog...! ;)

Anyways, for my "faux-toshoot" I wore my pretty Free People dress (while it's sold out, you can find other gorgeous lace dresses on their site here!), a gold leaf headband (worn for Halloween here), and to add a little outdoorsy fall look, I wore my combat boots. It was fun to dress up and play pretend.
