As long as I can remember, I have had d-r-y skin. It's been a part of my daily routine as far as I can remember to always lather lotion all over my body after I dry off from showering. Sometimes midday I find myself re-applying lotion to myself as well...

It's just recently that I heard about in-shower moisturizers. I saw some ads in magazines before, and was so curious about them! Did you know that by applying a product like the brand new Jergen's Wet Skin Moisturizer can help revitalize your moisturizing regimen? It's because you lock in hydration at skin's peak moisture moment, while the skin is still wet!! I never thought about this concept, but honestly-- it's genius.

With my recent re-decoration of our bathroom, it just felt like a fresh start to try something new! ;)

I went to my local Target store and found Jergen's Wet Skin Moisturizer, and decided to try out two kinds: Monoi Oil and Coconut Oil (they also have Green Tea Oil!). They both smell amazing, and really revitalized my skin. All I had to do was apply the moisturizer to my wet skin after I was finished washing my body (before I stepped out and dried off). No rinse is needed after application! It really locks in the moisture for 24-hour soft skin... and it feels amazing!

My skin stays so soft and hydrated throughout the whole day when I use the moisturizer. No more having to reapply lotion at work for me! I love that it maximizes the moisture in my skin but helps minimize the time I have to try off then apply regular lotion on and reapply it later in the day. In the long run, it's a time saver.

Be sure to head on over to a Target near you to try out the new Jergen's Wet Skin Moisturizer and take advantage of the Target Cartwheel Offer, 5% off this product!

Have any of you tried a wet skin application product? What were your results?

I love the idea of this product, but I wish the ingredients were more natural. I see several parabens, artificial colors and unpronounceable chemicals listed when I look them up. In the coconut version, coconut oil is actually the very last ingredient, meaning it's the smallest percentage of the formula. :-\
If you're looking for something very moisturizing that likely wouldn't require reapplication throughout the day, I'd suggest using a pure jojoba or coconut oil. Just massage into damp skin after showering. :)

aha I'm so not an "all natural organic" kind of girl... As far as I know I love this product and have been using it just fine! I'll have to look into the jojoba though! Thanks for the suggestion! xx
