Cozumel, Mexico

After spending our first full day out at sea, we were ready to stop at our first port! On Monday of our cruise, we stopped in Cozumel, Mexico. Justin and I went to Cabo San Lucas for our honeymoon, so it was fun to see a different part of Mexico.

After our 'formal' dinner on Sunday

I loved looking around the city so much! It is so fun to take in a new culture and see how others live. While I LOVED cruising, it was a little hard for me to have to be on the island for a short amount of time, then go back to the ship. I just wanted to eat at all the local restaurants and see more sights and people!

Our excursion for this day was touring the Tulum Mayan Ruins. It was seriously scorching hot, it was crazy! Our tour guide wasn't really the best, but luckily we broke off from the group early to go look around on our own ;) haha. It was amazing to see this piece of ancient history.

Later on before we had to get back on our bus, we looked around the local markets. I LOVED the colorful shops!! I got myself a Mexican dress, and it was fun to barter with the shop owner, haha.
Another plus of being in Cozumel was that I had cell coverage, LOL! So I was able to send some photos to my parents and post a couple to Instagram as well ;) It was definitely a great way to start off our day! The next day our port was in Belize, where I went with Justin, his dad, little brother, and little sister to go cave tubing. I didn't take my camera for that excursion, but it was still a fun experience as well!

Thanks for reading today! xx

Cozumel is beautiful! I know that we haven't ever OFFICIALLY met in real life (although, it feels like it? LOL) but wouldn't it be fun to do a blogger cruise! You and Justin look like fun travel buddies!
