Life in Eugene

As much as I completely love posting my outfits on here, I also 100% enjoy blogging about life in general, too! It has been a little over a month since we made our long trek from Utah to Oregon. Moving and unpacking wasn't too bad, thanks to Justin's parents and little sister who came with us. Our first apartment we lived in was furnished, then we lived with my in laws for a while so we never needed our own furniture. Until Eugene! We had a coffee table, two end tables, and two bookshelves. So holy cow, it was crazy having to look for furniture on KSL/take way too many trips to Ikea before we left Utah.

Justin and my father in law went to town on building all of the furniture once we got to Oregon. Our place is looking pretty put together, and I am loving it! We have plenty of storage, TWO bedrooms (in our last apartment we only had one), a little balcony, and a cute little apartment complex community. We are very blessed! Unfortunately, we don't have a dishwasher ;( BUT it forces me to keep tidy all the time, since I HATE dirty dishes in the sink. So I will be okay ;)

Sneak peek of the living room. I'm going for a calming and cozy look

Got my first (and probably only) Ducks shirt! And we went to our first U of O football game. Fans are pretty hilarious here ;)
Enjoying some neature on Labor Day
how amazing is the rainbow formed by the waterfall?!
Overall, things have been wonderful. Eugene has everything we will ever need (Walmart, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Chipotle, a few malls, etc.) so surviving will be no problem here ;-) Justin has really gotten into the swing of law school, and is even enjoying some of his classes...! They aren't easy, but he is a hard worker and I am so proud of him! I know I could NOT deal with school again, ha. The most (important) stressful thing has been that I haven't found a job yet. :( I have applied to several jobs I'm very interested in that close towards the end of the month, so I am really hoping things will look up soon! But I know things will work out when the timing is right. It always does!

Anyways, thank you for reading, everyone! I truly cherish each and every one of your sweet comments! XOXO

This totally makes me miss Oregon! I lived there for half of high school and it was a lot of fun and so beautiful. So much to do outdoors as well. Yeah, people go nuts over the Ducks. I have never seen people dress up so crazy for a game in my life lol

I love how simple your living room is. I wish I could decorate like that. It is so pretty in Oregon I've never been but would love to see it for myself someday. Glad your move went well.

Officially jealous that you're living in Oregon. I swear it's the most beautiful state in the union :) Also, you have to tell me where that couch is from, because I am in the market for a new couch, and feeling super overwhelmed with trying to find one.
