Welcome, 2014

Goodbye, 2013 and hello to 2014!! 2013 was such a great year for us. It was our first full calendar year of marriage, things were very stable (we lived in the same place all year, had the same jobs all year, went to the same school all year), and we had a ton of fun! Although I'm a little nervous/excited for what 2014 has in store, I love looking back on the good times of this past year...
In 2013, we....
Consumed wayyyy too many donuts and sushi rolls. Wowza.
Enjoyed our amazing, belated honeymoon to Cabo... Take me back.
Sent off our brothers on missions! Mine to Busan, Korea and Justin's to Kiev, Ukraine. They are both amazing missionaries and we miss them.
Summer was spent mostly working, and school for Justin, but we had fun, too!! I was able to be on the Daily Dish a few times as a model and for my own segments. We went camping with our friends, and almost got mauled by a bear. Not even kidding.
Went to what seemed like a million wedding receptions during the summer. So happy for all of our friends! Then at the end of the summer, we celebrated our own marriage of one year. :)
During the fall, I started taking blogging more seriously, went to more blogging events, and sewed more than I ever have before! Not complaining, it's been a blast. Sewing project details to come soon...
Loved my cat during Thanksgiving Break. Mmm kitty snuggles.
Ended employment with our on campus jobs, since I graduated, and Justin technically won't be going to campus as a 'student' next semester. I had an amazing student job working in the HR department of the BYU Bookstore. It was seriously the best job, and helped pay the bills. I cried a little as I walked away. Justin worked in library security. The photo above is where we met, so of course I cried a little there too. I'm sentimental, alright!?
Enjoyed some pre-Christmas festivities. Check out our white elephant swag on the left! We also went to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Concert and to Temple Square to see the lights.
Enjoyed a warm Christmas week in Arizona! (snowcones in December, who would've thunk).

Whew! Been a busy, fun, amazing year.
Here's to 2014... Let's make it the best year yet!

I may hate the heat during the summer, but living in the valley of Arizona pays off with the warm winters when you can still enjoy Bahama Bucks.
