Just DANCE! 2014 Review

I love dancing. Not like ballroom or tap dance or any of that jazz (haha, unintentional pun). I just love jamming to the beat, and going crazy!! My freshman and sophomore years, I could be found at dance parties on the weekends. Check out exhibit A below:
You see the lime green headband in the bottom corner? That was my signature style.. I would always wear it to dances! Now that I'm {a little} more grown up, I tend to just stay home and chill on the weekends... BUT, when I received Just Dance 2014 in the mail, I had to bust out my "Green Means Go" headband again, for old times sake!!
Just Dance 2014 is Ubisoft's newest "Just Dance" series game. Justin and I are lucky enough to have an XBox Kinect, so we get to play on that. We had a good time jamming out to some current songs! I danced to Lady Gaga, Justin danced to One direction, then we both danced to Katy Perry (Justin beat me!!). You can also sing to the Kinect, and it will give you bonus points! So fun.

When I first played this game, Justin set it to level HARD!! It definitely was a tough dance routine. I was started to sweat a little, and we had to crack the door open! I have played other Just Dance games in the past, but Just Dance 2014 had some sweet graphics, and it was more interactive-- in the battle round, Justin and I had to hold hands at one point of the routine (not complaining!;), but that was something I haven't seen in the previous games! The dancing isn't necessarily easy (some songs are super fast!) but it's so much fun, and I love a little challenge.
I also loved that this game combined newer songs as well as some older ones. If there is a big group that wants to play, there is definitely a song for everyone! I enjoyed the variety! I can't wait to play again! Anyone want to come over for a game night? ;)
What can I say... Still got the moves, am I right?..... lol
If you're looking for a fun, active, hip game to play, be sure to check out Just Dance 2014! It's available on Amazon as well as Gamestop, and also be sure to check out Ubisoft's blog. Get moving, be active, and HAVE FUN!

haha--I love the partner dances-there's actually one where the guy is supposed to lift the girl into the air...we weren't too successful with that. :P
