1. i have tiny feet... i'm usually a 4.5 but most shoes i have are 5.5 or so, because finding anything smaller is a pain! i hate that i have a hard time finding cute shoes that fit!
2. rings and bracelets never fit me. ): this makes me really sad!
3. my torso is really short. it makes it SO HARD to find shirts that aren't too long. it's no fun...
WELL... i'm sorry to complain, nobody likes hearing others complain! I'm not necessarily complaining about my body, but I am complaining about how i can never find clothes that fit me right :) In today's post i wanted to share with you one way i resolve my complaint #3: tie up shirts!! it makes the shirt shorter, obviously, therefore fitting my body better :)) I mean come on, we're not all 5'11" models here.. am i right!?
my hair looks nappy... why? because i took a 2 hour nap this day. ahhahaha.
shirt: forever21
belt: h&m (similar here)
necklace: from my grandma (i know it's hard to see, but similar here)
jeggings: american eagle
booties: target
so for those of you with short torso's like me.... don't fret! just tie it up for a fun look that will also help lengthen your legs :))
don't forget that tonight is the ultimate beach date night at Provo Beach Resort!! $15 admission gets you unlimited bowing, ropes course, golf simulator, FLOWRIDER, and much more! come chill at PBR and listen to some awesome local bands perform! remember, proceeds to towards the Boys & Girls Club!

ok, i completely agree, never will rings or bracelet fit.
ReplyDeletealso i dont have that small of feet, but my feet are super narrow, so if anyone has tried on the show before and stretched it out it wont fit. sad. small people problems. haha.
K
ya. i hate seeing cute rings and bracelets because i know they won't fit haha!!!
DeleteYour outfit is so adorable! I seriously need more prints in my closet.
ReplyDeleteI don't have terribly small feet but sometimes to get more of a selection I look in the kids section haha I was told a size 6 in womens is a size 4 in kids and it's true! Well... it worked for me but you definitely have to pick through the Disney princesses and other kid patterns but it might be worth a shot?
I love reading your blog and seeing your adorable outfits!
Aubrionna
prints are theee best :))HAHA and yes I had to get my soccer cleats from the childrens section /: booo. And this might be creepy, but we totally went to LSMS together. bahaha
Deletecute outfit, loving your boots!
ReplyDeletealthough i must add that nappy isn't exactly the word i would use to describe your hair.
Thanks Faith!! haha yeahh.. uhh... my hair actually looks pretty nice curled, but I really did take a two hour nap that day and the top of my head is so flat lol :) therefore, I like to call it nappyyy ;) thanks for your sweet comment!!
Deleteyou are soo adorable! i don't have the bracelet problem but i do have the torso problem booo. that's why i always have to tuck my shirts in haha
ReplyDeleteand those booties!!! i saw them at target online and wanted to get them! now i really want to get them. ahhh my poor wallet
Thanks Marsa! haha yeah I've been tucking lately too! it actually looks pretty chic, so I like it!
DeleteI have the cutest pair of shoes that are too small for me but would totally fit you.
ReplyDeletehaha girl! fur realz!?
DeleteI have the exact same issues. My feet are a litte bigger usually a 5.5 or 6, but i have the worst time finding bracelets and rings and my torso is super short!!!! At least you look incredibly cute in this outfit!
ReplyDeleteCynthia.
It's an issue! I wish they had a store that sold clothes for short people. thanks for your sweet comment!
Deleteyour hair still looks freaking cute! Haha I love long naps :) and I love this belt and the booties!

hhahah thanks Jessi! you are too sweet
DeleteMy ring size is a 4 for my engagement ring--my husband practically had a hard time convincing the jewelers to make it that small, and I couldn't get the wedding band I originally wanted because it couldn't be made in my size! I have to look at children's bracelets too. I have normal sized feet, though. I've occasionally wished that I could fit children's shoes--because my style preferences tend to lean towards the sparkly, colorful children's shoes, and I don't wear heels. :P
ReplyDeleteahh you have TINY fingers! that's crazy. HAHA I definitely got myself Children's soccer cleats! :))
Deletegirl I'm 5'9'' and it's not that great on this side either. all of my jeans have to be ordered in longs (so can't really find much in stores). you can always remove fabric, but you can't add it :(
ReplyDeleteok enough about the complaining. I think this outfit is gorgeous - the mint and leopard is perfect!
oh man! I have never really thought of it the other way around - i assume that anyone taller than me just gets great pics for clothes!! Thanks so much Franziska!
DeleteYou look so cute and I'm lovin you hair too. I love how you styled your look today too :)
