2011.
What a great. Fun. Crazy. Exciting. Confusing. Amazing. Fast. Slow. Stressful. Happy. Blessed year it has been.
There are good times, bad times. Hard times, delightful times.
But in the end,of course,it has been amazing.
I started my blog in July, with no intentions of it becoming the fashion blog that it did...
BUT it has definitely been so much fun,and a super rewarding experience!
I have learned so so much!
Let's see some transformations...
SUMMER:
Way back in the day (WHEN I WAS SOOO TAN!!!! I miss my pool & the sun...) when I started experimenting outside the comfortable box of,well... gym shorts and t-shirts.
Then comes FALL...
Where I took things even further along with my style. Tried things I never would have a year ago. I was way too embarrassed to tell people about my blog, let alone ask someone to take my picture,in public..... So here come the embarrassing inside shots. Oh boiii.
And then,of course,comes WINTER...
When I let my blog go public with friends and family, and started to ask my sweet roommate Alissa to take my pictures for me. I really started to branch out with my personal style here.
Even with all the changes within my blog and my personal style, above all,I strived for one factor to always remain constant:
That I dress in a modest way,so the inner beauty which my Heavenly Father has granted me will be able to shine through and reflect on the outside.
I will forever be a work-in-progress,but I plan to continue doing so. I hope to help inspire women everywhere that modesty isn't just about dress,it's about attitude.
I'm truly grateful for all the wonderful people I have been able to come in contact with through my blogging experience. Thanks for all your sweet comments and e-mails!
I'm also so grateful for the support I have received from my family and friends! I love you all! AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE :D
So.
Here's to another wonderful, absolutely fantastic year.
Welcome,2012!
I have a feeling, that you will be a good one.
Happy New Year,everyone!
xoxo
