For the few days up to Thanksgiving,I'm going to try to post something I am grateful for.
It's such a wonderful time of year, and life is something we should all be happy about!
MONDAY;I am grateful for my job.
If you've been reading my blog a while, you may know that I work for the Event Staff at BYU.
Maybe it's not the best pay in the world.
Maybe we have to wear super ugly orange shirts.
Maybe I work a ton some weeks, and hardly at all other weeks...
But hey...
It helps pay for my groceries!
I am grateful!
I've had the opportunity to work at football games, volleyball games, soccer games, and now basketball games.
I've been able to see how much time and preparation is put into making just one sporting event happen, and it's made me appreciate all the people who do the "behind the scenes" work. And let me tell ya...
There is A LOT of preparation that goes into it!
Tv crew. Camera crew. Consessions staff. Custodial staff. Marching band. Cheerleaders. Dance team. Security. Public relations. Newspaper staff. Clean-up crew. Medical staff. Honestly, the list could go on and on forever. It's an amazing little system they've set up!
LOVE it when my friends come visit me.
Even though it got super cold some games...
Pumpkin.
*I've been able to meet some reallyyy cool people who I now get to see on campus and say hello to! (:
Like Tiff.
and (not pictured) Tyler and Jesse and Chuck and FanFan and Tommy.
They're all super chill.
Although football season is over,I am still so grateful for the wonderful experience I had by working at the games. I'll still be working a few sporting games here and there, but football will forever be dear to my heart!
xoxo
